More about Anne: She grew up in Massachusetts (in the same town as Farnoosh!) and moved to beautiful Portland, Oregon three years ago. She received a BS/MS in chemical engineering and a PhD in biomedical engineering.
She works as a research scientist at a start-up company that is developing a diagnostic device for malaria and sickle cell disease. She became interested in personal finance after finishing grad school and feeling behind her peers in retirement savings.
She is passionate about empowering women in personal finance as well as in the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields.
