Today’s guest is Dr. Greg Wells, a scientist, broadcaster, author, coach and athlete, who has dedicated his career to better health and performance. Dr. Wells is an assistant professor of kinesiology at the University of Toronto where he studies elite sport performance. He also serves as an associate scientist of physiology and experimental medicine at The Hospital for Sick Children where he helps research how to use exercise to prevent, diagnose and treat chronic illnesses in children.
In addition to all this amazing and truly important work, Dr. Wells is the author of Superbodies: Peak Performance Secrets from the World’s Best Athletes, which explores how genetics and DNA, the brain, muscles, lungs, heart and blood work together in extreme conditions.
Another cool fact about Dr. Wells is that he was invited to go and commentate at the last couple of Olympics as a sports science analyst!
Three takeaways from this interview:
– How to take emotion out of investing
– How to prioritize for maximum performance… and what happens when our priorities are out of balance
– And why investing in yourself pays off
