Today on the show we’re going to learn how to be a go-giver…not a go-getter.  And how that can lead us all to richer, happier lives. To teach us this we have 9 time New York Times Bestselling Author David Bach.

David, as you may know, is famous for his FinishRich books including Start Late, Finish Rich and Smart Women Finish Rich. One of my personal favorite books of David’s is The Automatic Millionaire.

David is also an internationally renowned motivational and financial speaker and a regularly featured financial expert in the media. He’s appeared six times on The Oprah Winfrey Show and he has been a regular contributor to NBC’s Today Show.

David’s recently teamed up with Ric Edelman, Chairman and CEO of Edelman Financial Services. Together their goal is to provide a million Americans unprecedented access to financial education, financial planning services and investment management.

In the episode, as I mentioned, we’ll learn about David’s go-giver philosophy. We’ll also go down memory lane with him and hear him share the financial lesson his grandmother taught him when he was a young boy…and it all happened at McDonald’s. And of course, I had to ask him about Oprah. And what it was like – after 10 years trying to get on her show – to finally meet Ms. Winfrey and be a featured guest on her show.

It’s nice to live vicariously through David!
